Mila Kunis takes her new ring out for a walk.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who met while starring on "That 70s Show" as Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart, are going to tie the knot.
Kunis was photographed in public on Thursday wearing a huge engagement ring on her left hand.
Kutcher, 35, and Kunis, 30, began appearing in public as a couple in April 2012, though they didn't immediately announce that they were dating. Months earlier, Kutcher had separated from his wife Demi Moore, and Kunis toldExtra that they were just friends.
"It's absurd! A friend is a friend," she said then.
Kutcher's divorce from Moore was finalized in Nov. 2013.
The new couple were still trying to keep their smooching private as recently as January, hiding behind Kutcher's hat when the Los Angeles Lakers' Kiss Cam caught them
On Instagram Friday morning, Kunis shared a photo of herself and Kutcher with the caption "Happily ever after ..."

Anonymous Oscar voter confesses to hating animation, voting for friends

We won't officially know who the Oscar winners are until Sunday night, but that hasn't stopped a few anonymous Academy members from talking to the press about their supposedly secret ballots. And wow, one of them is a bit crabby.
IMAGE: "Frozen"
Disney
Sorry, Queen Elsa of "Frozen." At least one Academy voter thinks animated films are beneath him.
Both The Hollywood Reporter and The Daily Beast convinced voting members to spill some secrets, against the Academy's wishes. The Hollywood Reporter is publishing a series of five "brutally honest" Oscar ballots leading up to the awards, and as of Friday, had published three of them. The Daily Beast has also published one.
The Hollywood Reporter's first ballot is also its crankiest and most controversial. It comes from a director who bluntly admits to "no interest whatsoever" in animated features and admits to being "completely ignorant" of everything in the best-picture nominee "Her." (What exactly does that mean? Ignorant of computers? Of love? Of Scarlett Johansson?)
This member calls Julia Roberts' "August: Osage County" performance "horrendous," says Meryl Streep does a "bottom-drawer" job in the same film, and sneers that "Gravity" isn't as good as things he/she has seen at a planetarium.
IMAGE: August: Osage County
Weinstein Co.
One Academy voter is no fan of Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts in "August: Osage County."
The director also finds all of the nominated musical scores and songs "inferior" and abstained from voting in those categories. He/she also doesn't care to watch the nominated shorts, even though some are just a few minutes long, saying, "if I don't know anybody who made one of them, I just don't vote."
For the main categories, the director goes along with some of the picks that are expected to win, choosing "12 Years a Slave" as best picture and Cate Blanchett as best actress. But he/she also has a jones for "American Hustle," picking Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence to win over the favored Matthew McConaughey, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o.
"Lupita was very good, but a lot of the commotion over her is attributable to people's tremendous empathy with and sympathy for the role she's playing," the anonymous voter said of the "12 Years a Slave" star, who plays a slave who's frequently raped and beaten.
IMAGE: Lupita Nyong'o
Fox Searchlight Pictures
Some of the anonymous voters are big fans of Lupita Nyong'o in "12 Years a Slave," but at least one feels she receives too much credit because her character is so sympathetic.
The Hollywood Reporter's second ballot comes from a member of the Academy's sound branch, and he/she is a lot less crabby and seems to enjoy films a little more than the director. This member also picks "12 Years a Slave" as best picture, though hilariously refers to nominee "Philomena" as "Willamena." He/she then sticks to the favored big four acting choices — McConaughey, Blanchett, Leto and Nyong'o. This member also abstained from voting for the short films (does anyone watch them?), and admits to voting for friends in the film editing and original score categories, though also says their work holds up.
This Academy member doesn't share the director's distaste for songs, choosing "Let It Go" from "Frozen," though he/she admits to not seeing all the animated feature nominees, and thus abstaining in that category.
The site's anonymous third voter, whose thoughts were posted Friday, comes from the Academy's executives branch, and is perhaps the most polite (and yes, a little boring) about his or her votes. The executive picks "Gravity" over "12 Years a Slave" for best picture, is fond of "Philomena" and "Frozen," and gives the supporting actor nod to Barkhad Abdi, the Somali limo driver who menaces Tom Hanks in "Captain Phillips." Give this voter credit for taking his or her responsibility seriously — no abstentions, not even in the shorts categories.
The Daily Beast doesn't say if their anonymous Academy voter is a director, actor, or from another film field, dubbing him/her "Pat" to keep the gender unknown. But male or female,"Pat" makes a weird digression on the looks of two "American Hustle" stars, calling Jennifer Lawrence a "hot young girl" and criticizing Amy Adams for "having no boobs."
"Pat" makes some unorthodox picks, choosing Barkhad Abdi for best supporting actor, and Bruce Dern of "Nebraska" as best lead actor. "Pat" voted for Judi Dench of "Philomena" as best supporting actress, but admits Lupita Nyong'o will likely win.
And don't snub "Pat" at Academy functions. He relays a time when "Prisoners" star Hugh Jackman blew off other members at an event, and says "if he’d been seriously a nominee, that’s where my vote would have tilted — because somebody relayed an attitude that you’re beneath them."

"Parks and Rec" star Amy Poehler, left, and first lady Michelle Obama were at a Miami parks and recreation center together on Feb. 25 to promote her Let's Move initiative.
"Parks and Recreation" is getting another visit from the White House. NBC announced Thursday that first lady Michelle Obama will be making a special appearance in the season finale.
Obama filmed her scene for the sitcom in late February while in Miami for her Let's Move initiative, which aims to reduce childhood obesity by teaching kids to eat healthy and lead active lives.
While in Miami, the first lady tweeted that she and the show's star, Amy Poehler spent some time with children at a rec center.
Today, @ParksandRecNBC will come to life when Amy Poehler & the First Lady join kids at a Miami Parks & Rec center to get active.

"Parks and Rec" follows the adventures of Leslie Knope (Poehler), the deputy director of the Parks and Recreation Department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Ind. The ensemble comedy also stars Rob Lowe, Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones and Aubrey Plaza.
Vice President Joe Biden has also guest starred on the series as himself. Poehler's character has always had a crush on Biden, and fiance Ben (Adam Scott) arranged a meeting with the VP for her as an engagement gift in season five. Other political figures who have appeared on the show include John McCain, Olympia Snowe and Barbara Boxer.

See for your selfie: No pants, no problem for Lena Dunham author photo

If this is an author's portrait for Lena Dunham's new book jacket, it looks like a jacket will be missing — and pants for that matter.
The 27-year-old star and creator of the HBO series "Girls" shared new photographs on Instagram this week showing herself posing for photographer Autumn de Wilde. Dunham wears a pair of high-waisted, leopard-print knickers and a cropped top. Her caption reads:

A third image shows Dunham and her dog, Lamby, cuddling on a bed.
On "Girls," Dunham — in character as aspiring writer Hannah Horvath — is known for a sense of style that includes ill-fitting outfits and little-to-no clothing at all in many episodes. The third season of the Golden Globe winning series is currently airing on HBO on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET.
Her book, "Not That Kind of Girl," is due out Oct. 7.

Leah Remini reveals she left Scientology for her daughter's sake

Leah Remini.
In 2013, after more than 30 years as member of the Church of Scientology, Leah Remini made headlines with her decision to leave the religious organization behind. Now Remini's finally ready to reveal what, or rather who, motivated her to make the move — her 9-year-old daughter, Sofia.
“She was getting to the age where the acclimation into the Church would have to start,” she explained in an interview with BuzzFeed.
For the actress, memories of her own early years in Scientology made that a difficult prospect to face.
“We were working from morning until night with barely any schooling,” she said of her experience. “There was no saying no. There was no being tired. There was no, ‘I’m a little girl who just lost her father and everything I’ve ever known.’ There was only, ‘Get it done.’”
And according to the star, "it" was no small job.
“If the church needed a ballroom wall knocked down, you made it happen because there were heavy repercussions if you didn’t,” Remini said.
Those tough times damaged her relationship with her own mother, who was often too busy with her role in the Church to be there for her child.
“I started thinking of my own childhood and how I grew up resenting my mother because she was never home,” Remini recalled. “It’s funny; somehow my father, the guy who left his kids and never paid child support, was excluded from my resentment and I grew up resenting my mother for not being home to make food, like all my friends’ moms were. But my mom thought she was doing something good; she thought she was helping the planet. That’s what the Church tells you.”
Ultimately "The Exes" actress didn't want history to repeat itself.
"In my house, it’s family first — but I was spending most of my time at the Church," she said. "So, I was saying ‘family first,’ but I wasn’t showing that. I didn’t like the message that sent my daughter."
So she ended her affiliation with Scientology, and with that, inadvertently ended her relationship with many longtime members the Church. But she didn't lose her relationship with her mother. That one just got stronger.
“The fact my mother stood by me after all her years in the Church totally took away any resentment I may have been harboring,” she said. “When it mattered the most, my mother was there for me."
The Church of Scientology has responded to Remini's remarks, saying in a statement to TODAY: "It comes as no surprise that someone as self-absorbed as Leah Remini with an insatiable craving for attention would exploit her former faith as a publicity stunt by rewriting her history with it, including omitting that she was participating in a program to remain a Scientologist by her own choice, as she was on the verge of being expelled for her ethical lapses."

Dream dresses: Our Oscar gown picks

Celebrities’ red carpet picks are the work of many a stylist and luxury designer, but if we had it our way, we’d choose a few natural fits (and unexpected styles) for Hollywood’s greatest. With the Oscars right around the corner, here are the designer dresses we’d green light for the night’s celebrated nominees:

Holy box office! Bible-based movies flood theaters

Hollywood blockbusters are rarely aimed at the churchgoing faithful, but a new trend in Bible-based movies may soon have them flocking to theaters. Three films — "Son of God," "Noah" and "Exodus" — all draw from the best-selling book of all time for their source material, and producers are hoping to spread the good word — while also being blessed with big box office earnings.

"Clearly, 2014 is being dubbed the year of the Bible," "Son of God" producer Mark Burnett told NBC News reporter Joe Fryer. Burnett should know: His 2013 "Bible" miniseries was a huge hit on History, and he's now selectively edited out the Jesus story from that series and added new scenes (plus excised Satan) for the film "Son of God."
"This is a passion project for us," he said. "The most important thing is (that) this movie gets seen and used."
As Fryer noted, the challenge for any film based on the Bible is how to hew to the original material while still translating into mass appeal. In 2004, "The Passion of the Christ" did just that, generating more than $370 million in U.S. box office, but also creating a lot of controversy over the story's focus.
March release "Noah," starring Russell Crowe, has already generated some controversy over its plot. "Exodus," due out in late 2014, stars Christian Bale as Moses and so far hasn't generated much discussion.
But "Son of God" is the first of the three to come out, and so has the highest profile in the media. And it's likely to have a solid turnout, at least on its first weekend, if motivational speaker Joel Osteen has anything to say about it. A donor pre-purchased 9,000 tickets to a screening, and Osteen helped distribute them through his Lakewood church.
"Not knocking any other movies, but I do believe that people of faith are looking for wholesome things," said Osteen.
And as it says in the Bible, "Seek, and ye shall find."

Jim Lange, longtime 'Dating Game' host, dies at 81

Jim Lange, offering his signature end-of-show farewell on "The Dating Game" in the late 1970s.
Jim Lange, the original host of the long-running game show "The Dating Game" died Tuesday in Mill Valley, Calif., after suffering a heart attack, his wife, Nancy, told TODAY. Lange was 81.
He appeared as the host of the ABC show after spending his early career in radio, and hosted the program during its on-and-off runs from 1965 to 1980. The show usually featured a bachelorette asking questions of three bachelors she couldn't see, and ultimately choosing one to go on a date. Sometimes, it would be one bachelor asking questions to three bachelorettes.
Lange was known for blowing a kiss goodbye to the audience at the end of each episode.
"Jim Lange was one of the great show hosts of television. Always in control, but with a soft enough hand to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable," "Charles in Charge" star Willie Aames, who appeared on "The Dating Game" in 1978, told TODAY. The game show often featured aspiring stars as bachelors and bachelorettes.
Lange was originally from St. Paul, Minn., and discovered radio while still a teen after winning an audition at a local station. He hosted a show for a few years before attending school at the University of Minnesota and then spent a few years as a Marine, the Bay Area Radio Museum noted in a 1992 interview with him.

He went into television in 1962 as an announcer and sidekick on "The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show," and stepped into the national spotlight once he joined "The Dating Game." He would go on to host more game shows, including "$100,000 Name That Tune" and "The New Newlywed Game."
After television, he moved back into radio as a DJ in Los Angeles and San Francisco before retiring in 2005.
TV may have made him nationally famous, but Lange's heart truly was in radio. As he told the Bay Area Radio Museum, "Radio is the theater of the mind. You're on your own. You don't have to worry about lighting directors and cameramen or script writers and all that. Good radio is still the most fun. It always will be. Plus, you don't have to wear makeup and you don't have to shave."
He is survived by his sister, five children, two stepchildren and four grandchildren.

'Grey's Anatomy' star: April's decision 'will have repercussions for' many

Instead of a seamless dream wedding, April Kepner (Sarah Drew) had hers wrecked by her ex on "Grey's Anatomy."
"Grey's Anatomy's" midseason finale left fans — and Sarah Drew's April Kepner — stunned when Jackson Avery stood up at her wedding and declared that he was in love with her. The wait to see who April picks is over, and star Drew told TODAY that fans won't have to wait until the end of Thursday's new episode to find out whether she'll go ahead and marry fiance Matthew, or literally leave him at the altar for her ex.
"We will know April's decision right away," Drew said. "The decision will be made within the first images of the spring premiere. ... It will have repercussions for lots of different people."
"The first scene when we come back is really a beautiful shot," she added.
The actress (obviously) wouldn't drop any hints as to whether Jackson (Jesse Williams) or Matthew (Justin Bruening) will be the lucky guy, but she did say she has "mixed feelings" about April's decision.
"I just think she's sort of put in an impossible situation when Jackson stands up in the barn at her wedding because there is no way for somebody to not be hurt in that scenario," she explained. "Even if she just hesitates for a second but then chooses Matthew, it's still going to cause pain in her relationship with Matthew. But it's also going to be devastating for Jackson. But if she chooses Jackson ... she's just going to feel like she's destroyed this other guy's life. There's no way to win this scenario, but we'll win in terms of drama!"

And thanks to Jackson's declaration of love, there will be plenty of drama to come as the doctors of Grey-Sloan Memorial deal with the aftermath.
"Something very dramatic happened in that barn that everybody was privy to," Drew reminded. "They're still going to be working at the same hospital together and that could potentially cause conflict in handling cases and engaging with one another in the halls of the hospital. ... (It) will create tension."
That will be undeniably true for Jackson's girlfriend, resident Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton).
"I don't know how that relationship with her and Jackson can be recovered," Drew admitted. "But I think just the act of being so publicly rejected affects Stephanie so much that it then affects whoever she's working with at any given time because it's really hard to walk around the halls, casing everybody who just watched you be looked over for somebody."
As for Jackson and April? "They have such a strong friendship that it may take a while to recover," Drew said theoretically. "But I think that they will always eventually find their way back to their friendship."
"Grey's Anatomy" returns for part two of season 10 on Thursday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Justin Bieber videos show unsteady walk in jail

Image: Justin Bieber

Video of pop star Justin Bieber's January arrest following a traffic stop in Miami is mostly uneventful, but does feature the singer taking some wobbling steps while walking on a straight line inside the station.
In the footage, which has no audio, the singer walks heel-to-toe on a line on the station floor, at first confidently, then stumbles briefly after he turns around to walk the other way. He then disappears from sight and is later seen walking the same line again, this time with more balance problems. Police officers observe the singer's walk while his friend, rapper Khalil Sharieff, sits in a chair nearby. Sharieff, who was driving a separate car, also was charged with one misdemeanor count of DUI.

The video footage matches up with earlier officer reports, in which police wrote that the singer could not walk as instructed, had trouble turning without losing his balance and could not smoothly follow a moving object with his eyes.
At another point in the footage, Bieber is briefly seen doing a number of push-ups on the floor of the jail.
After fighting release of the footage at a hearing last week, Bieber's lawyers on Tuesday agreed to allow the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office to release the bulk of the footage — with the exception of five "sensitive" video clips, some of which may show Bieber taking urine tests. The video was sought by The Associated Press and other media organizations under Florida's public records law, which allows most evidence in a criminal case to be released to the media once it has been turned over to the defense team.

Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield will review the five redacted sections of the footage and render his decision on their release at a hearing on March 4, a spokeswoman for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida told NBC News. Police released surveillance video earlier this month of Bieber being processed after his arrest. That video shows Bieber removing his shoes, socks and black hoodie before being patted down by an officer.
Bieber, 19, has pled not guilty to three misdemeanor charges of DUI, resisting arrest without violence, and driving with an expired license. The pop star was arrested on Jan. 23 after a 4:09 a.m. traffic stop during which Bieber cursed repeatedly at a police officer and acknowledged smoking marijuana, drinking and taking an unknown prescription medication, according to police.
toxicology report released by the state attorney's office revealed Bieber tested positive for marijuana and Xanax. The report, obtained by NBC News, does not reveal the quantities of the substances in Bieber's system. But a DUI test report obtained by NBC News shows that Bieber's alcohol breath tests were under the legal limit, even for an underage driver. Police tested Bieber four times, beginning at 5:24 a.m., because the first two samples could not be measured, the report says.
The report describes Bieber as being "excited, talkative, profanity, cooperative, insulting, and cocky" and states that he had a pronounced odor of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot eyes, a flushed face, and an odor of marijuana on his clothes and breath.
A trial date has not been scheduled.

Justin Bieber leaves the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami on Jan. 23, 2014, after the singer was charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license.
